CHANGE OF CONTRACTORWhen requesting a Change of Contractor, an executed Change of Contractor Form must be submitted to the City of Miami Beach Building Department.
There is a $150.00 change of contractor fee if work has taken place. If no work was performed the fee is $115.00. A hold will be placed under the permit to prevent inspections until the owner has completed the Hold Harmless process to change the permit into the name of the new contractor.
