Excellence Model With Performance Monitoring Feedback
The City’s Excellence Model includes performance measurement and management component designed to drive performance improvement by systematically measuring results and making timely adjustments when results fall short of desired performance levels. In certain areas, the required measures are under development. Based on annual performance results, along with updated community surveys, updated environmental scan information, and customer input, initiatives are refined each year.
When evaluating initiatives and their activities, departments identify areas for improvement using performance improvement processes. Departments use data to identify and validate root causes and implement solutions.
The Citywide and department performance results provided below are snapshots of our status in achieving our Citywide Strategic Plan and the supporting objectives in the Department Work Plans.
