Click here to See Miami Beach through it's infrastructureThe purpose of the CIP Office Community Information Program is to involve residents in the current Capital Improvement Program for the City of Miami Beach and in their neighborhood in particular. CIP Office will repair deteriorating infrastructure and beautify the City to meet the needs of residents and visitors. The CIP Office endeavors to educate our community about the effects of development and time on the City’s fixed assets, right of ways, equipment and facilities.

The CIP Office has embraced a community inclusive planning and design development policy. Residents are encouraged to participate in Community Design Workshops for planned improvements. Based on the results of community input, design firms create a Basis of Design Report to present to the City Commission prior to commencing with detailed construction documents.

Residents can further review design progress at Community Design Review Meetings or through communication with the CIP Office. Sign up for notification to keep informed of Planned Progress.

The CIP Office provides the following information resources, in addition to notification required by regulation, to assist residents in becoming involved or keeping informed of planned improvements.
