Circa 1942-1945 City of Miami Beach Grounds Crew donated by Delores Reagan; her brother-in-law, Frank A. Gehry is in the group photographed. He worked for the City of Miami Beach during World War II and also retired from the City. This historic photo should serve to demonstrate City employees' war efforts during this time.

1950's - Lincoln Road. The building to the right was built in July 1938 and demolished in 1955. Bank of America occupies this site at the present time. Lincoln Road became a pedestrian mall in the 1960's.

1950's - Historical post card of Miami Beach.

1959 - The original Indian Statute stood at Alton Road and 41st Street. Ettore Pellegata came from Italy to work on Viscaya and made this and other statutes for Carl Fisher. The statue was moved to Pine Tree in 1959 when the Julia Tuttle causeway was constructed.
