Kids to Hold a Mock City Commission Meeting -- In celebration of Municipal Clerk’s Week – On Monday, May 10, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. , the City of Miami Beach held the 2004 City of Miami Beach Mock Commission Meeting in celebration of National Municipal Clerk’s Week.

This year, Municipal Clerk's Week was celebrated on May 10-14, kicking off the week with a "Mock" Commission Meeting, where students from Nautilus School, in coordination with ASPIRA, Inc., participated, instructed by elected officials and Administration. This is an ongoing effort to involve the youth in the understanding of government and how it works.
