City of Miami Beach

MIAMI BEACH CULTURAL CAMPUS
The Beach to Park Avenue, between 20th & 22nd street.

South Beach

The "cultural campus" or Museum District, houses the innovative Miami City ballet building, the renovated Bass Museum and the future renovated Miami Beach Regional Library and Collins Park. Each project has been or will be designed by internationally renowned architects: Arata Isosaki (Ballet), Robert Stern (Bass) and the Library (TBA).

One feature of this Museum District is the crafting of a gourmet hotel corridor, rehabilitation of Art Deco and MiMo hotels that cater to arts patrons and seasonal visitors.

The Electrowave, electric battery powered circulator, will provide service linking the Museum District to Lincoln Road and the Art Deco District.
Miami Beach’s Art Scene Continues its Momentum with the Inaugural Celebration of the "New" Bass Museum of Art and the Return of Art Basel/Miami Beach in 2003 - Developing a cutting-edge artistic culture has been the collective vision of many in Miami Beach.
