Pick-up, Recycling and Bulk Pick-up

Wasteful
Weekends
Let
the first weekend of the month be a wasteful one. Take your
bulk trash to one of two dumpsters locations from 8:00 a.m.
Saturday to 8:00 p.m. Sunday on the first weekend of every
month.
The
dumpsters are located at 6th Street Community Center (6th
Street between Jefferson and Meridian avenues) and at 75th
Street and Dickens Avenue.
Please
DO NOT dispose of chemical or hazardous materials, tires,
paints, or car parts into the dumpsters.

Residents of Miami Beach
who reside in a single family home or in a building with 8
or fewer units:
The City of Miami
Beach Sanitation Residential Contract has been awarded to
Waste Management of Dade County Effective January 1, 2005.
The Residential Schedule Days of Pick-Ups has not changed.
For Bulky Waste
appointments, call 305-471-4444. Residents should continue
to contact the City of Miami Beach Sanitation Department
at 305-673-7616 or the Answer Center 305-604-CITY for further
information regarding sanitation services.
Recycling services are provided by Community
Recycling to single family homes and buildings of 8 or fewer
units. Pick up days are on Wednesdays.
Residents of Miami Beach who reside
in a building with more than 8 units need to hire, by
means of a contract, a private hauler for their regular trash
pick-up, recycling and bulk pick-up.
These residents may choose from the
four companies that are authorized to collect garbage on
Miami Beach as follows:
