New Local Bus Service Coming Soon - Electrowave Gets Zapped!

The shuttle that you know as the Electrowave ceased operations at 1:00 a.m. Sunday, September 25 2005, and the Miami-Dade Transit's Route W will also cease operations at 8:00 p.m., Saturday, September 24, 2005.

But the good news is that the two services will now be combined into one route by the new South Beach Local, operated by Miami-Dade Transit. The new service begins at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, September 25. The South Beach Local is a bi-directional circular service to the entire South Beach area. The transit fare will be 25 cents.
