Miami Beach Joins Baynanza Clean-Up

Miami Beach, FL – As part of the county-wide Baynanza, volunteers are invited to participate in the City of Miami Beach, North Shore Open Space Park, exotic plant removal and planting of native trees and plants event. The event will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2003, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The park is located east of Collins Avenue and west of the Atlantic Ocean, between 79th and 86th streets. The City of Miami Beach will provide tools and equipment for the activities. Volunteers should wear sneakers and hats; bring sunscreen and water. Volunteers will meet at 83rd Street, in the park.
