A complete application and site plan
are required to process your request. A site plan may be drawn in any size
format as long as the reviewing staff can clearly understand the placement of
all fixtures. The only items allowed on
site as part of a wedding ceremony are: chairs; a runner; an arch and a table.
Vehicles, Tents, Generators, and any other temporary structures that might be
needed for a wedding reception are strictly prohibited from entering the beach,
without property permitting and approvals. Should you need to have these
elements as part of your ceremony please contact the Office of Film & Event
Production Management to inquire on how to apply for a Special Event Permit.
Per the City’s permit guidelines you
may choose to hire off-duty police personnel to be present at your ceremoy.
Please contact the off-duty Police office at 305-673-7823 to coordinate this
effort.
When
on the beach please be advised that applicants must abide by the State of
Florida
’s Marine Turtle Protection Guidelines. Turtle Season extends from
May 1 through October 31. Please
