Online Permit Services
Online access to permit information and services is available 24/7 for the consumer’s convenience. Registration is required to use the Citizen Access Portal. First-time users must register with Citizen Access Portal at CAP Registration. The web-based system enables building professionals and owners to conduct business with the City of Miami Beach directly from any device with internet access. Users can view plan review results, process payments, and schedule inspections at https://eservices.miamibeachfl.gov/EnerGovProd/CitizenAccess/Site/Public/Main.

Plan review results as well as other permit details may also be viewed online.
Inspections may be requested or cancelled via CAP (Citizen Access Portal). If difficulties are experienced while requesting or cancelling an inspection, please call 305.673.7610 ext. 6619.
*Important: If you are neither the Contractor or Owner, prior to accessing permit information in CAP, you must be added to each permit for which you seek access to. In order to be added to a permit, you must submit a notarized letter to the Building Department, from the Contractor or the Owner, granting permission to be added as a Contact.
CAP only contains data from 2009 to the present.*
