Palm and Hibiscus Islands Right of Way Improvements

Project Phase – Construction

Overview

On this neighborhood project, the right of way is undergoing full construction. Ongoing work includes lighting, pouring concrete valley gutters, upgrading the islands’ drainage system, installing pump stations, raising the road, rebuilding the road and paving the road. CIP is fully revamping the area; when the project is complete, the neighborhood will have brand new roads, infrastructure, pump stations, a multi-purpose path for recreation and Hibiscus Island will be ready for the undergrounding of utilities.

  • Throughout Palm and Hibiscus Islands

Scope of Work 

Infrastructure improvements will include:

  • New water main
  • New storm water drainage system and pump stations
  • Lining of sanitary sewer main including laterals
  • Overhead utility (FPL, ABB and ATT) undergrounding (Hibiscus Island only)
