Youth And Family Services
The Office of Community Services serves and advocates for all those who live, work and play in the City of Miami Beach through partnerships, coalitions, and special initiatives. Our services include rent/ utility assistance, serving as a community referral agency, and serving as an ACCESS Florida site for the Department of Children and Families.

Our office offers a variety of programs for youth enrolled in our Miami Beach Feeder Pattern schools. Call 305.673.7491 for more information and eligibility requirements.
If you are homeless in Miami Beach, call 305.604.4663, Monday through Friday, 8:30 A.M. – 3:30 P.M. for direct staff assistance or stop by our office at 555 – 17th Street. After a short intake and assessment, our office can assist you with emergency shelter, relocation services (if you have family or friends willing to provide you help in another city within the contiguous United States), transportation tokens and referrals to food, clothing and more.
Come to the first floor in City Hall, located in 1700 Convention Center Drive, Monday through Friday, 8:30 A.M. – 3:30 P.M., with the following documents:
- Eviction or 3-day notice
- Photo identification
- Social Security card
- Proof of income and household expenses
Staff will conduct an intake and assessment, review available community resources and refer you to a community agency that can address your needs.
