Fire Cadet Program

Grades: 9 – 12

High schoolers interested in firefighting careers will gain hands on experience as well as a better understanding of the daily responsibilities of a Miami Beach firefighter. Coursework will include a physical and academic portion with hands-on training in first aid, fire prevention and firefighting skills. Join us for open chess play to practice, learn and sharpen your skills in a friendly environment. All skills levels are welcome. Sharpen your skills or learn to play. A National Scholastic Chess Foundation instructor will be available to help both new and experienced players.
