Smart City Street Lighting Standards Project

The City of Miami Beach is establishing smart city lighting standards to ultimately shape the City’s lighting masterplan, enhance the community and tourist experiences, and promote safety and environmental awareness.

Join us during one of the following two public meetings in your area to learn more about the smart city lighting project, provide essential feedback about the topic and engage with experts from Johnson Controls and other notable companies that will help guide the City’s lighting masterplan.

Both meetings will consist of the same programming and participants will evaluate the following priorities from a lighting perspective:

  • Adaptive Controls
  • Branding and Aesthetics
  • Color Rendering Index (CRI)
  • Correlated Color Temperature (CCT)
  • Energy Reduction
  • Internet of Things (IoT) Capabilities
  • Safety and Security
  • Sky Glow and Light Trespass
  • Wildlife Preservation and Sustainability
