Miami Beach hat das Gl\u00fcck, mit Frank Quintana einen leidenschaftlichen, einfallsreichen und kreativen Vorreiter an der Spitze der Informationstechnologie zu haben.<\/p>\n<p>Frank kam im August 2014 zur Stadt Miami Beach und war f\u00fcnf Jahre lang als Abteilungsleiter f\u00fcr IT-Operationen t\u00e4tig, bevor er zum CIO bef\u00f6rdert wurde. Frank ist verantwortlich f\u00fcr Innovation, strategische Planung sowie die \u00dcberwachung von Design, Ver\u00f6ffentlichung und Wartung aller Technologiedienste und -systeme. Mit mehr als 23 Jahren vielf\u00e4ltiger IT-Erfahrung auf F\u00fchrungsebene im privaten und \u00f6ffentlichen Sektor, darunter bei kleinen und gro\u00dfen Unternehmen, im Profisport (Miami Dolphins) und in der Unterhaltungsbranche (Hard Rock Stadium), ist Frank bestens f\u00fcr die Leitung und \u00dcberwachung des 55-k\u00f6pfigen IT-Teams ger\u00fcstet.<\/p>\n<p>Da Technologie zunehmend zu einem wichtigen Bestandteil unseres Alltags wird, insbesondere nach der Pandemie, die uns zwang, uns an eine neue Normalit\u00e4t anzupassen, steht virtuelle Technologie nun im Mittelpunkt. Sie vernetzt Teams und Stakeholder, verbessert den Betrieb und steigert die Produktivit\u00e4t. Dementsprechend ist die Rolle des CIO f\u00fcr die Effektivit\u00e4t, Strategie und Reaktionsf\u00e4higkeit der Kommunalverwaltung wichtiger denn je.<\/p>\n<p>Als Beleg f\u00fcr Franks F\u00fchrungsst\u00e4rke und sein K\u00f6nnen, Miami Beach dynamisch und modern zu halten, erhielt die IT-Abteilung den Innovative Leadership in Management of Information Technology Award 2022 der Florida Local Government Information System Association (FLGISA) f\u00fcr die Entwicklung eines originellen Open-Data-Ressourcentools f\u00fcr die Community. Das Tool erm\u00f6glicht dem General Obligation Bond (GO Bond)-Programm die transparente Bereitstellung einer interaktiven \u00f6ffentlichen Website, www.GOMBlnfo.com, die alle Phasen und Elemente von 57 Projekten zur Verbesserung der Lebensqualit\u00e4t in Echtzeit darstellt. Das Tool ver\u00e4ndert die Art und Weise, wie Miami Beach den Projektfortschritt darstellt und mit Mitgliedern der Community interagiert.<\/p>\n<p>Die Entwicklung neuer Tools ist nur ein Aspekt, wie die IT die Leistungen der Stadt Miami Beach f\u00fcr die Gemeinde verbessert. Die Kommunikation und F\u00f6rderung von Miami Beach als erstklassiger Standort f\u00fcr Wirtschaft, Leben, Arbeit und Freizeit ist ebenfalls ein wichtiges Ziel. Zu diesem Zweck arbeitet die IT-Abteilung mit anderen Abteilungen zusammen, um die Vorteile von Miami Beach zu teilen. Dazu geh\u00f6rt auch die Zusammenarbeit mit der Abteilung f\u00fcr Wirtschaftsentwicklung auf der eMerge Americas 2023, die vom 20. bis 21. April 2023 im Miami Beach Convention Center stattfindet. Die Teams pr\u00e4sentierten eine <em>Machen Sie einen mutigen Schritt<\/em> Messestand und arbeitete daran, Technologie- und Fintech-Unternehmen sowie Unternehmer f\u00fcr die Er\u00f6ffnung, den Umzug und\/oder die Verlegung ihres Standorts nach Miami Beach zu gewinnen. Au\u00dferdem stellte die IT-Abteilung analytische Daten zur Verf\u00fcgung, die in Echtzeit die Sauberkeit der Stadt und andere Aspekte der Lebensqualit\u00e4t erl\u00e4uterten.<\/p>\n<p>Die Leitung einer erfolgreichen IT-Abteilung ist eine Herausforderung.
