Joe war au\u00dferdem Mitglied des Planungsausschusses, bevor er in die Stadtkommission gew\u00e4hlt wurde.<\/p>\n
Schon in jungen Jahren wurde Joe die Bedeutung der Gemeinschaft und der Hilfe f\u00fcr Bed\u00fcrftige bewusst, als er als Krankenschwester im Kinderkrankenhaus von Philadelphia jeden Tag miterlebte, wie seine Mutter um 4:30 Uhr morgens aufwachte.<\/p>\n
Nach seinem Abschluss in Finanzwesen und Wirtschaftsrecht an der Pennsylvania State University begann Joe im Investmentbanking-\/Kapitalmarktanalystenprogramm bei Merrill Lynch. Anschlie\u00dfend arbeitete er fast ein Jahrzehnt lang bei der Deutschen Bank in der Abteilung f\u00fcr kommunale Kapitalm\u00e4rkte und betreute Hunderte von St\u00e4dten und Gemeinden im ganzen Land. Dabei entwickelte er eine Leidenschaft und Expertise f\u00fcr die Kommunalverwaltung.<\/p>\n
Joe ist derzeit Vizepr\u00e4sident der privaten, afroamerikanischen Investmentbank Loop Capital, die Kapitall\u00f6sungen f\u00fcr Unternehmen, Beh\u00f6rden und Institutionen weltweit anbietet. Joe hat au\u00dferdem eine j\u00fcngere Schwester, Jenna, die in New York City lebt und im Investmentbanking arbeitet. Dort engagiert sie sich in zahlreichen Initiativen zur F\u00f6rderung der Repr\u00e4sentation von Frauen an der Wall Street.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
