Der Ausschuss erstellt und \u00fcbermittelt j\u00e4hrlich zeitnah mit Unterst\u00fctzung des Personalbeauftragten Stadtdaten und Informationen, die im kommunalen Gleichstellungsindex (\u201eMEI\u201c) der Menschenrechtskampagne (\u201eHRC\u201c) zu den Antidiskriminierungsgesetzen, -richtlinien und -dienstleistungen der Stadt bewertet werden. Der Ausschuss gibt der Stadtkommission und dem Stadtdirektor au\u00dferdem Empfehlungen zu neuen oder ge\u00e4nderten Gesetzen, Verordnungen oder Richtlinien, die m\u00f6glicherweise erlassen werden m\u00fcssen, um jedes Jahr alle m\u00f6glichen Punkte im MEI zu erhalten.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zusammensetzung.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Der Ausschuss besteht aus f\u00fcnfzehn (15) stimmberechtigten Mitgliedern, wobei drei (3) Mitglieder direkt vom B\u00fcrgermeister und zwei (2) Mitglieder von den einzelnen Stadtr\u00e4ten ernannt werden. Ungeachtet des vorhergehenden Satzes besteht die anf\u00e4ngliche Zusammensetzung des Ausschusses aus den derzeitigen Mitgliedern des Gay Business Development Committee des B\u00fcrgermeisters, die sich f\u00fcr die Mitarbeit im Ausschuss entscheiden.
