This project replaces the aerial water main crossings on the Causeway, which run along the north and south sides of the Venetian bridges. The pipes are in poor condition and ranked first in the prioritized list of critical assets for the Water &amp; Sewer Renewal and Replacement Report. Dieses Projekt ersetzt die oberirdischen Wasserleitungskreuzungen auf dem Causeway, die entlang der Nord- und S\u00fcdseite der Venetian Bridges verlaufen. Bei dieser Technik wird ein Pilotloch entlang eines vorgegebenen Pfades gebohrt, typischerweise unter Hindernissen wie Stra\u00dfen, Fl\u00fcssen oder bestehender Infrastruktur. Sobald das Pilotloch erstellt ist, wird der Bohrer erweitert und die Hauptwasserleitung eingef\u00fchrt. HDD wird aufgrund seiner Effizienz, der geringeren Umweltbelastung und der M\u00f6glichkeit, Beeintr\u00e4chtigungen f\u00fcr Anwohner und den Verkehrsfluss w\u00e4hrend der Verlegung zu minimieren, bevorzugt.<\/p>\n<h3
