Die Planungsabteilung unterst\u00fctzt au\u00dferdem den Planungsausschuss, die st\u00e4dtische Planungsbeh\u00f6rde, administrativ. Dar\u00fcber hinaus verwaltet der Planungsausschuss die Verfahren zur bedingten Nutzung und zur Festlegung der Auswirkungen auf die Nachbarschaft.<\/p>\n<p>Die Abteilung f\u00fcr Fl\u00e4chennutzungsplanung pr\u00fcft im Rahmen des Baugenehmigungsverfahrens alle Genehmigungsantr\u00e4ge und Baupl\u00e4ne, um die Einhaltung der Bauvorschriften sicherzustellen. Sie unterst\u00fctzt au\u00dferdem den Board of Adjustment personell, was die Bearbeitung und Abgabe von Empfehlungen f\u00fcr alle Abweichungsantr\u00e4ge und Einspr\u00fcche gegen Verwaltungsentscheidungen und Auslegungen von Bauvorschriften umfasst.<\/p>\n<p>Die Abteilung f\u00fcr Nachbarschaftsplanung bewertet bestimmte Bereiche der Stadt, um spezifische Nachbarschaftsprobleme zu l\u00f6sen. Dazu geh\u00f6ren die Einrichtung von \u00dcberbauungsgebieten, Nachbarschaftspl\u00e4ne sowie die Anpassung und Verbesserung des Stra\u00dfenbildes.<\/p>\n<p>Die Abteilung f\u00fcr Stadtplanung und Denkmalpflege pr\u00fcft alle Grundst\u00fccks- und Baupl\u00e4ne, um sicherzustellen, dass die geplanten \u00c4nderungen an bestehenden Grundst\u00fccken oder Geb\u00e4uden mit dem \u00e4sthetischen Charakter der Umgebung vereinbar sind. Diese Abteilung bietet au\u00dferdem technische und administrative Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr den Design Review Board und den Historic Preservation Board.
