\u2013 Der Municipal Equality Index bewertet US-St\u00e4dte nach Gesetzen, Richtlinien, Dienstleistungen und anderen Kriterien, die die LGBTQ+-Community betreffen \u2013<\/h3>\r\n

Miami Beach, Florida <\/strong>\u2013 Miami Beach z\u00e4hlt im j\u00e4hrlichen Municipal Equality Index der Human Rights Campaign erneut zu den besten US-St\u00e4dten. Im k\u00fcrzlich ver\u00f6ffentlichten Index f\u00fcr 2024 erreichte die Stadt 100 Punkte, die h\u00f6chstm\u00f6gliche Bewertung.<\/p>\r\n

\u201eMiami Beach hat sich seinen Platz als Vorreiter und Vorreiter in Sachen LGBTQ+-Themen und -Interessenvertretung verdient\u201c, erkl\u00e4rte Miami Beach Commissioner Alex J. Fernandez. \u201eAls schwuler Mann bin ich stolz, in einer Stadt zu leben, die die Rechte aller Lesben, Schwulen, Bisexuellen, Transgender und Queers vehement verteidigt \u2013 nicht nur, dass sie hierher kommen k\u00f6nnen, sondern auch, dass sie sich bei ihrer Ankunft sicher und willkommen f\u00fchlen.\u201c<\/p>\r\n

Der Municipal Equality Index 2024 ist eine landesweite Bewertung von 506 St\u00e4dten anhand von 49 Kriterien, darunter die Inklusivit\u00e4t von Gesetzen, Richtlinien und Dienstleistungen. Er soll eine Zusammenfassung landesweiter Best Practices f\u00fcr Inklusion und ein Konzept f\u00fcr positive kommunale Ver\u00e4nderungen sein und nicht nur ein Ranking der freundlichsten US-St\u00e4dte f\u00fcr LGBTQ+-Personen darstellen.<\/p>\r\n

Der Index 2024 best\u00e4tigte, dass St\u00e4dte im ganzen Land \u2013 darunter auch Miami Beach \u2013 die Gleichstellung von LGBTQ+-Personen unterst\u00fctzen, selbst dort, wo Bundesstaaten und Bundesregierung dies nicht tun. Der Bericht wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Equality Federation Institute ver\u00f6ffentlicht.<\/p>\r\n

Neben Miami Beach erreichen in Florida auch Miami, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Wilton Manors, Orlando, St. Petersburg und Tampa die 100-Punkte-Marke.<\/p>\r\n

Die Indexkriterien basieren auf f\u00fcnf breiten Kategorien:
\u2022 Antidiskriminierungsgesetze.
\u2022 Kommunen als Arbeitgeber.
\u2022 Kommunale Dienste.
\u2022 Strafverfolgung.
\u2022 F\u00fchrung in Sachen LGBTQ+-Gleichberechtigung.<\/p>\r\n
