\u2013 Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) erm\u00f6glicht Ultraschallbilder vor Ort \u2013<\/h3>\r\n

Miami Beach, FL \u2013 <\/strong>Die Feuerwehr von Miami Beach hat mit der Einf\u00fchrung eines Point-of-Care-Ultraschallger\u00e4ts (POCUS) einen weiteren Schritt zur Verbesserung der pr\u00e4klinischen Notfallversorgung unternommen. Mit dieser mobilen Ultraschalltechnologie kann die Feuerwehr Patienten besser unterst\u00fctzen, bevor sie das Krankenhaus erreichen.<\/p>\r\n

Das POCUS-Ger\u00e4t erm\u00f6glicht Feuerwehrleuten Echtzeit-Ultraschalluntersuchungen bei lebensbedrohlichen Notrufen, insbesondere bei Herzstillstand und schweren Traumaverletzungen, und liefert so sofort kritische Bilder des Patienten. Das Ger\u00e4t wird im Fahrzeug des Schichtleiters des Rettungsdienstes mitgef\u00fchrt. Dadurch kann es von mehreren Einheiten und Schichten gemeinsam genutzt werden. Mit dieser Initiative ist Miami Beach die erste Feuerwehr im Miami-Dade County, die mobile Ultraschalltechnologie erfolgreich im Einsatz einsetzt.<\/p>\r\n

Um den effektiven Einsatz von POCUS sicherzustellen, erhielt das Personal der Feuerwehr von Miami Beach eine praktische Schulung von Dr. Benjamin Abo, einem renommierten Rettungs- und Notfallarzt, Toxikologen und medizinischen Direktor in Florida.<\/p>\r\n

\u201eDie Verbesserung unserer pr\u00e4klinischen Versorgung ist eine Priorit\u00e4t f\u00fcr unsere Abteilung\u201c, sagte Feuerwehrchefin Digna Abello<\/strong>\u201eDurch die Erg\u00e4nzung von POCUS k\u00f6nnen wir Patienten lebensrettende Bilder liefern und so kritische Eingriffe in Echtzeit durchf\u00fchren.\u201c<\/p>\r\n

Durch die M\u00f6glichkeit, Patienten vor Ort zu untersuchen, k\u00f6nnen Feuerwehrleute feststellen, ob ein Patient auf die Behandlung anspricht und wie ernst sein Zustand ist. Dies kann medizinische Entscheidungen beeinflussen und die Wirksamkeit der Hilfe vor dem Eintreffen im Krankenhaus erh\u00f6hen.<\/p>\r\n
