\u2013 Das Text Before Tow-Programm soll am 12. Mai beginnen \u2013<\/h3>\r\n

Miami Beach, FL \u2013 <\/strong>Die Stadt Miami Beach bietet bald einen neuen Vorteil f\u00fcr Einwohner, die ihre Fahrzeuge bei der Parkverwaltung der Stadt registrieren: mit der Einf\u00fchrung von Text vor dem Abschleppen. <\/strong>Ab dem 12. Mai sendet das Programm registrierten Einwohnern 15 Minuten im Voraus eine Warn-SMS, wenn ihr Fahrzeug abgeschleppt werden soll.<\/p>\r\n

\u201eDas ist ein intelligenter, auf die Bewohner ausgerichteter Ansatz\u201c, sagte Steven Meiner, B\u00fcrgermeister von Miami Beach<\/strong>\u201eMit einer kleinen Schonfrist k\u00f6nnten wir unseren Anwohnern m\u00f6glicherweise den \u00c4rger ersparen, abgeschleppt zu werden.\u201c<\/p>\r\n

F\u00fcr Fahrzeuge, die in Frachtladezonen parken, sowie bei Verst\u00f6\u00dfen gegen die Sicherheit, wie z. B. in Feuerwehrzufahrten, auf Fahrspuren oder auf Behindertenparkpl\u00e4tzen, werden keine SMS-Benachrichtigungen verschickt. Um Missbrauch zu verhindern, erhalten Anwohner pro Strafzettel eine einmalige Benachrichtigung.<\/p>\r\n

\u201eZu viele Bewohner von Miami Beach m\u00fcssen bei ihrer R\u00fcckkehr feststellen, dass ihr Auto abgeschleppt wurde \u2013 ohne dass sie jemals die M\u00f6glichkeit hatten, das Problem zu beheben\u201c, sagte Miami Beach-Kommissar Alex Fernandez<\/strong>Das ist frustrierend, kostspielig und in vielen F\u00e4llen vermeidbar. Ziel unserer Parkraum\u00fcberwachung sollte die Einhaltung der Parkvorschriften sein, nicht die Bestrafung. Durch das Versenden einer SMS und die Gew\u00e4hrung einer 15-min\u00fctigen Karenzzeit k\u00f6nnen wir die Einhaltung der Parkvorschriften m\u00f6glicherweise schneller erreichen und den Anwohnern gleichzeitig unn\u00f6tige Kosten und Unannehmlichkeiten ersparen.<\/p>\r\n

Obwohl das Programm erst n\u00e4chsten Monat startet, k\u00f6nnen sich Einwohner, die sich noch nicht f\u00fcr ihre \u201eAnwohnerparkausweise und -rabatte\u201c bei der Stadt registriert haben, jederzeit anmelden, um nicht nur am Text Before Tow-Programm teilzunehmen, sondern auch Parkrabatte zu erhalten. Die Anmeldung erfolgt online unter register.miamibeachparking.com<\/strong><\/a> oder pers\u00f6nlich bei uns im Miami Beach Kundenservicecenter<\/a> (1755 Meridian Ave, 1st<\/sup> Etage) mit Lichtbildausweis, Fahrzeugschein und Meldenachweis (z. B. Stromrechnung).<\/p>\r\n

Zur Erinnerung: Wenn Anwohner bereits an den Programmen f\u00fcr Anwohnerparkausweise und -rabatte teilnehmen, werden sie mit der Mobiltelefonnummer, die sie bei der Anmeldung des Fahrzeugs bei der Stadt angegeben haben, automatisch f\u00fcr das Programm \u201eText Before Tow\u201c registriert.<\/p>\r\n

Einwohner von Miami Beach sollten register.miamibeachparking.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0f\u00fcr weitere Informationen oder parking.miamibeachfl.gov\/portal\/<\/a> um alle notwendigen Aktualisierungen an ihren Girokonten vorzunehmen.<\/p>\r\n
