Sie sch\u00fctzen unsere wertvollen Str\u00e4nde und sichern wichtige Tourismuseinnahmen, indem sie Sturmfluten und Erosion wirksam reduzieren. Dieses monumentale, wissenschaftlich fundierte Projekt bietet eine innovative L\u00f6sung zum Schutz unserer marinen \u00d6kosysteme und unserer Kulturlandschaft.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Die Installation markiert den Start von REEFLINE, einem neuen \u00f6ffentlichen Skulpturenpark und Hybridriff unweit der K\u00fcste von Miami Beach, der durch die von den W\u00e4hlern im Jahr 2022 genehmigte Arts &amp; Culture General Obligation Bond erm\u00f6glicht wurde.<\/p>\n<p>Am 20. und 21. Oktober sowie am 27. und 28. Oktober k\u00f6nnen Einwohner und Besucher von Miami Beach zusehen, wie ein 48 Meter langes Bauschiff 22 lebensgro\u00dfe Betonautos in Seen\u00e4he ins Meer hinabl\u00e4sst, 237 Meter von vier bis f\u00fcnf Stra\u00dfen entfernt. Einmal aufgestellt, bilden diese skulpturalen Formen <em>Betonkoralle<\/em>, ein neues Unterwasserkunstwerk des international anerkannten K\u00fcnstlers Leandro Erlich, das als surrealer Unterwasser-Verkehrsstau 20 Fu\u00df unter der Meeresoberfl\u00e4che arrangiert ist.<\/p>\n<p>Demn\u00e4chst werden 2.200 Korallen aus dem Miami Native Coral Lab von REEFLINE in Allapattah gez\u00fcchtet. <em>Betonkoralle <\/em>Dabei kommt Coral Lok\u2122 zum Einsatz, eine innovative Technologie, die eine schnelle, sichere und nachhaltige Korallenverpflanzung erm\u00f6glicht. Das Kunstwerk verwandelt ein Symbol urbaner \u00dcberlastung in ein lebendes Riff, das marine \u00d6kosysteme bereichert \u2013 eine poetische Umkehrung des menschlichen \u00f6kologischen Fu\u00dfabdrucks.<\/p>\n<p>REEFLINE, ein Projekt der Kulturplanerin Ximena Caminos, das als Vorbild f\u00fcr K\u00fcstenst\u00e4dte weltweit dienen soll und dessen Masterplan von Shohei Shigematsu\/OMA stammt, wird von einem multidisziplin\u00e4ren Team aus Meeresbiologen, K\u00fcsteningenieuren, Designern, K\u00fcnstlern und Umweltexperten getragen.
