Dezember 2025\t<\/h2>\n<h3>\n\t\t\t\u2013 Der Municipal Equality Index bewertet US-St\u00e4dte nach Gesetzen, Richtlinien, Dienstleistungen und anderen Kriterien, die die LGBTQ+-Community betreffen \u2013 \t<\/h3>\n\t<p><strong>Miami Beach, Florida<\/strong> Die Stadt Miami Beach z\u00e4hlt erneut zu den besten US-St\u00e4dten im j\u00e4hrlichen \u201eMunicipal Equality Index\u201c der Human Rights Campaign, w\u00e4hrend in 36 der 50 Bundesstaaten die durchschnittlichen Werte gesunken sind. Miami Beach erreichte im k\u00fcrzlich ver\u00f6ffentlichten Index f\u00fcr 2025 die H\u00f6chstpunktzahl von 100 Punkten.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIch bin stolz darauf, dass Miami Beach weiterhin landesweit f\u00fchrend in Sachen Gleichberechtigung ist\u201d, sagte er. <strong>Miami Beach Kommissar Alex J. Fernandez<\/strong>. \u201cDieser Stolz r\u00fchrt nicht nur daher, dass ich ein schwuler Stadtrat bin, sondern auch aus dem Wissen, dass der Schutz unserer LGBTQ+-Community die Sicherheit und den Zusammenhalt aller st\u00e4rkt, die Miami Beach ihr Zuhause nennen. Unsere gesamte Stadt bl\u00fcht auf, wenn W\u00fcrde und Respekt unser Handeln leiten.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In diesem Jahr erreichten rekordverd\u00e4chtige 130 St\u00e4dte, das sind \u00fcber 25 Prozent aller im MEI bewerteten St\u00e4dte, die H\u00f6chstpunktzahl von 100. 76 St\u00e4dte erzielten sogar \u00fcber 85 Punkte, obwohl sie aus Bundesstaaten stammen, deren Antidiskriminierungsgesetze sexuelle Orientierung und Geschlechtsidentit\u00e4t ausdr\u00fccklich sch\u00fctzen. Erstmals seit sieben Jahren lag der nationale MEI-Durchschnittswert etwas niedriger als in den Vorjahren.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnsere Stadt hat sich seit langem als Vorreiter bei der Schaffung eines sicheren, akzeptierenden und wertsch\u00e4tzenden Umfelds f\u00fcr alle Einwohner erwiesen\u201d, f\u00fcgte er hinzu.<strong> Paul Thomas, stellvertretender Vorsitzender des LGBTQIA+-Beratungsausschusses der Stadt<\/strong>. \u201cEs ist uns eine Ehre, eng mit unserem B\u00fcrgermeister und der Stadtverwaltung zusammenzuarbeiten, um sicherzustellen, dass Miami Beach ein Ort bleibt, an dem Gleichberechtigung nicht nur gesch\u00e4tzt, sondern aktiv gef\u00f6rdert wird.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Der Municipal Equality Index 2025 ist eine landesweite Bewertung von 506 St\u00e4dten anhand von 49 Kriterien, darunter die Inklusivit\u00e4t von Gesetzen, Richtlinien und Dienstleistungen. Er soll die besten Praktiken der Inklusion landesweit zusammenfassen und als Leitfaden f\u00fcr positive kommunale Ver\u00e4nderungen dienen, anstatt lediglich die LGBTQ+-freundlichsten St\u00e4dte der USA aufzulisten.<\/p>\n<p>Der Index 2025 best\u00e4tigte erneut, dass St\u00e4dte im ganzen Land \u2013 darunter auch Miami Beach \u2013 die Gleichstellung von LGBTQ+-Menschen unterst\u00fctzen, selbst dort, wo Bundesstaaten und die Bundesregierung dies nicht tun.<\/p>\n<p>Neben Miami Beach erreichten auch Miami, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Wilton Manors, Oakland Park, Orlando, St. Petersburg und Tampa in Florida eine Punktzahl von 100.<\/p>\n<p>Die Indexkriterien basieren auf f\u00fcnf breiten Kategorien:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Antidiskriminierungsgesetze.<\/li>\n<li>Kommunen als Arbeitgeber.<\/li>\n<li>Kommunale Dienstleistungen und Programme.<\/li>\n<li>Strafverfolgungsbeh\u00f6rden.<\/li>\n<li>F\u00fchrungsrolle im Bereich der LGBTQ+-Gleichstellung.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Der vollst\u00e4ndige Bericht, einschlie\u00dflich detaillierter Scorecards f\u00fcr jede bewertete Stadt und einer durchsuchbaren Datenbank, ist online verf\u00fcgbar unter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hrc.org\/resources\/municipal-equality-index\">www.hrc.org\/mei<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Die Human Rights Campaign Foundation ist der Bildungszweig der Human Rights Campaign, der gr\u00f6\u00dften B\u00fcrgerrechtsorganisation Amerikas, die sich f\u00fcr die Gleichstellung von Lesben, Schwulen, Bisexuellen und Transgendern einsetzt.
