W\u00e4hrend sich die Einzelhandelslandschaft in St\u00e4dten im ganzen Land rasant ver\u00e4ndert, setzen viele auf Unterhaltungskonzepte, um veralteten Gesch\u00e4ftsstra\u00dfen neues Leben einzuhauchen. Diese neue Strategie stand im Mittelpunkt der j\u00fcngsten Podiumsdiskussion., \u201cEinkaufen, Essen, Spielen, Dazugeh\u00f6ren: Unterhaltungsviertel als Katalysatoren f\u00fcr die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung\u201d<\/em> Die Veranstaltung wird virtuell vom Projekt REAP ausgerichtet und vom ICSC am 11. Mai 2026 pr\u00e4sentiert.<\/p>\n

Project REAP (Real Estate Associate Program) ist eine nationale Initiative, die sich f\u00fcr mehr Vielfalt und Chancengleichheit in der Gewerbeimmobilienbranche einsetzt. Dies geschieht durch Schulungen, berufliche Weiterbildung und Networking-M\u00f6glichkeiten. In Zusammenarbeit mit ICSC, dem Verband der Marktpl\u00e4tze und Einzelhandelsimmobilien, brachte die Veranstaltung Fachleute zusammen, die er\u00f6rterten, wie Erlebnisnutzung zu wirkungsvollen Instrumenten der Stadtentwicklung wird.<\/p>\n

Das Panel untersuchte die wachsende Attraktivit\u00e4t von \u201cEatertainment\u201d-Konzepten wie Pickleball-Anlagen, Erlebnisgastronomie, Gaming-Bars und hybriden Sport- und Freizeitangeboten. Diese Betreiber beziehen zunehmend ehemalige Gro\u00dffl\u00e4chenm\u00e4rkte und Ladenlokale zweiter Generation und tragen so dazu bei, dass Gemeinden wieder mehr Besucher anziehen, die Verweildauer verl\u00e4ngern und ihre Identit\u00e4t als Reiseziel st\u00e4rken.<\/p>\n

Zu den Hauptrednern geh\u00f6rte Steven Anthony, Wirtschaftsf\u00f6rderungsdirektor der Stadt Miami Beach.
