      Nacido en Brooklyn, Nueva York, Steven Meiner fue criado con la convicci\u00f3n de que el servicio p\u00fablico es fundamental y que la comunidad es fundamental. Su padre, Sheldon Meiner, dedic\u00f3 su carrera al servicio p\u00fablico como agente del Servicio de Impuestos Internos de Estados Unidos durante casi 40 a\u00f1os, y su madre, Dorothy Weiss, tambi\u00e9n dedic\u00f3 su carrera al servicio p\u00fablico como maestra de escuela p\u00fablica y consejera. Los padres de Steven fueron un ejemplo a seguir de la importancia del servicio p\u00fablico.<\/p>\r\n

      Steven sigui\u00f3 los pasos de sus padres y ha dedicado la mayor parte de sus 23 a\u00f1os de carrera profesional como abogado al servicio p\u00fablico, combatiendo el fraude. Desde 2007, cuando se mud\u00f3 a Miami Beach, Steven se ha desempe\u00f1ado como abogado de cumplimiento de la ley civil en la Comisi\u00f3n de Bolsa y Valores de Estados Unidos (SEC). Antes de incorporarse a la SEC, Steven ejerci\u00f3 la abogac\u00eda en la ciudad de Nueva York, gestionando complejos litigios financieros para los prestigiosos bufetes internacionales Dewey Ballantine y Mayer Brown.<\/p>\r\n

      Steven se ha dedicado a ayudar a su comunidad y fue honrado como Hombre del A\u00f1o por una organizaci\u00f3n c\u00edvica local en 2012. Steven tambi\u00e9n fue designado para servir en un panel asesor de la Ciudad de Miami Beach y tambi\u00e9n participa activamente en varias organizaciones ben\u00e9ficas locales.<\/p>\r\n

      Steven ha estado casado con su esposa Shanyn durante 18 a\u00f1os y son orgullosos padres de sus dos hijos peque\u00f1os, Matisyahu y Michal.<\/p>\r\n
