El Alcalde y los Comisionados Municipales designar\u00e1n directamente a un miembro cada uno, y los otros siete miembros del Comit\u00e9 estar\u00e1n compuestos por empresarios municipales o miembros de las siguientes organizaciones comunitarias, cada uno de los cuales ser\u00e1 designado por mayor\u00eda de votos de la Comisi\u00f3n Municipal:<\/p>\n(1) Comit\u00e9 de Transporte y Estacionamiento de la C\u00e1mara de Comercio de Miami Beach;<br \/>\n(2) Una asociaci\u00f3n de vecinos de South Beach;<br \/>\n(3) Un propietario de un negocio de South Beach o una asociaci\u00f3n de negocios de South Beach;<br \/>\n(4) Una asociaci\u00f3n de vecinos de Mid-Beach;<br \/>\n(5) Un propietario de un negocio de Mid-Beach o una asociaci\u00f3n de negocios de Mid-Beach;<br \/>\n(6) Una asociaci\u00f3n de vecinos de North Beach; y<br \/>\n(7) Un empresario o una asociaci\u00f3n empresarial de North Beach. A los efectos de esta secci\u00f3n, los t\u00e9rminos que se establecen a continuaci\u00f3n tendr\u00e1n el siguiente significado:<br \/>\nSouth Beach: l\u00edmites al sur de la calle 23;<br \/>\nMid-Beach: l\u00edmites entre la calle 23 y la calle 63;<br \/>\nNorth Beach: l\u00edmites al norte de la calle 63\n<p>Propietario de Negocio Municipal: persona f\u00edsica con participaci\u00f3n o derecho de propiedad durante al menos seis meses en un negocio establecido en la ciudad. Participaci\u00f3n en la propiedad significa la propiedad del diez por ciento (10%) o m\u00e1s (incluyendo la propiedad del 10% o m\u00e1s del capital social en circulaci\u00f3n) en un negocio. Negocio significa cualquier empresa unipersonal, patrocinio, corporaci\u00f3n, sociedad de responsabilidad limitada u otra entidad o asociaci\u00f3n empresarial.<\/p>\n<p>Anualmente, los miembros del comit\u00e9 elegir\u00e1n a un presidente y a los dem\u00e1s funcionarios que se consideren necesarios o convenientes, quienes ejercer\u00e1n sus funciones a voluntad del comit\u00e9. Siete miembros constituir\u00e1n el qu\u00f3rum del comit\u00e9 y ser\u00e1n necesarios para tomar cualquier medida.<\/p>\n\t<p><a href=\"https:\/\/library.municode.com\/fl\/miami_beach\/codes\/code_of_ordinances?nodeId=SPAGEOR_CH2AD_ARTIIIAGBOCO_DIV25TRPABIDEFACO\">C\u00d3DIGO DE LA CIUDAD DE MIAMI BEACH SEC. 2-190<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>OBJETIVO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La misi\u00f3n del comit\u00e9 de transporte, estacionamiento e instalaciones para bicicletas y peatones es asesorar al Administrador Municipal y a la Comisi\u00f3n Municipal en materia de transporte y estacionamiento en relaci\u00f3n con los singulares barrios de la ciudad; y mejorar la vida de los residentes y visitantes promoviendo el desarrollo, la gesti\u00f3n responsable, la seguridad y el uso de las instalaciones p\u00fablicas dedicadas a bicicletas y peatones. El objetivo de este comit\u00e9 ser\u00e1 contribuir al desarrollo de programas, la implementaci\u00f3n de soluciones y la presentaci\u00f3n de recomendaciones a la ciudad que sean fiscalmente responsables. Este comit\u00e9 se esforzar\u00e1 por ayudar a resolver los desaf\u00edos cr\u00edticos de transporte y estacionamiento que enfrenta nuestra creciente y din\u00e1mica comunidad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PODERES Y DEBERES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El comit\u00e9 tendr\u00e1 los siguientes deberes, funciones, poderes y responsabilidades:<\/p>\n<p>1) Asesorar a la Comisi\u00f3n Municipal y al Administrador Municipal en asuntos relacionados con el transporte y el estacionamiento y su impacto en las comunidades de la ciudad. Como tal, la Comisi\u00f3n Municipal o el Administrador Municipal remitir\u00e1n los asuntos de inter\u00e9s p\u00fablico relacionados con el transporte y el estacionamiento al comit\u00e9 antes de su adopci\u00f3n o implementaci\u00f3n para su consideraci\u00f3n y recomendaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>2) Formular y recomendar planes y programas para la coordinaci\u00f3n de las actividades de las entidades gubernamentales en materia de transporte y estacionamiento y su impacto en la ciudad.<\/p>\n<p>3) El prop\u00f3sito expreso de este comit\u00e9 es servir como un veh\u00edculo que las personas responsables puedan utilizar y consultar para intentar comprender y resolver las preocupaciones de la ciudad con respecto a los problemas de transporte y estacionamiento, y hacer recomendaciones al administrador de la ciudad o la comisi\u00f3n de la ciudad con respecto a dichos asuntos.<\/p>\n<p>4) El comit\u00e9 tambi\u00e9n proporcionar\u00e1 recomendaciones consultivas al administrador de la ciudad o a la comisi\u00f3n de la ciudad con respecto al uso, funcionamiento, seguridad, gesti\u00f3n y desarrollo de las instalaciones p\u00fablicas para bicicletas y peatones para las acciones que parezcan apropiadas.<\/p>\n<p>5) Desempe\u00f1ar otras funciones que de tiempo en tiempo le asigne el administrador de la ciudad o la comisi\u00f3n de la ciudad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>COMPOSICI\u00d3N<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El Comit\u00e9 estar\u00e1 compuesto por 14 miembros con derecho a voto.
