Estado del proyecto: en construcci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n

La ciudad est\u00e1 construyendo 35 nuevas, ic\u00f3nicas y coloridas torres de salvavidas para proteger nuestras playas. Este proyecto comenz\u00f3 en 2015; las torres se construyen por lotes y se trasladan a su ubicaci\u00f3n en la playa cuando est\u00e1n listas.<\/p>\n

Ubicaci\u00f3n del proyecto<\/h3>\n

Se establecen \u00e1reas de preparaci\u00f3n donde el contratista trabaja para instalar las torres de salvavidas antes de su traslado a la playa y su puesta en servicio. La ubicaci\u00f3n de las nuevas torres se elige en colaboraci\u00f3n con Ocean Rescue para determinar d\u00f3nde son m\u00e1s necesarias, ya que las torres antiguas se retiran del servicio.<\/p>\n

Las \u00e1reas de preparaci\u00f3n actuales est\u00e1n ubicadas al este de Lummus Park, cerca de la calle 14, y al este de North Beach Oceanside Park, al norte de la calle 79.<\/p>\n

Alcance del trabajo<\/h3>\n

\u00a1Las \u00faltimas cinco torres (de las 35) ya est\u00e1n en construcci\u00f3n! Su funci\u00f3n principal es albergar a los socorristas y proteger a los ba\u00f1istas de Miami Beach. Sus divertidos dise\u00f1os tambi\u00e9n se han convertido en elementos ic\u00f3nicos del Art D\u00e9co a lo largo de las playas de arena de Miami Beach.<\/p>\n
