Carpenter, administrador de la ciudad de Miami Beach<\/strong>\u201cEstos son los tipos de proyectos que mejoran la calidad de vida diaria de nuestros residentes, fortalecen la infraestructura obsoleta y seguir\u00e1n satisfaciendo las necesidades de la ciudad en el futuro\u201d.<\/p>\r\n<p>El departamento recibi\u00f3 el premio al proyecto del a\u00f1o en la categor\u00eda de agua y aguas residuales por el proyecto de reemplazo de la tuber\u00eda principal de la calle 41, que emple\u00f3 equipos de perforaci\u00f3n horizontal dirigida (HDD) para reemplazar tuber\u00edas antiguas, aumentar la confiabilidad del sistema y optimizar la calidad del agua. Se prev\u00e9 que la nueva tuber\u00eda principal tenga una vida \u00fatil de 70 a 100 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\r\n<p>El departamento recibi\u00f3 un segundo premio al proyecto del a\u00f1o en la categor\u00eda de embellecimiento y paisajismo por la est\u00e9tica paisaj\u00edstica de Indian Creek Drive.
