Este significativo evento ofrece una experiencia inolvidable en la playa para ni\u00f1os y familias que dependen de ox\u00edgeno, traqueostom\u00edas o respiradores. Familias de todo el pa\u00eds se re\u00fanen para disfrutar del oc\u00e9ano, participar en actividades y conectar con otras personas en un entorno inclusivo.<\/p>\n

Los bomberos de Miami Beach colaborar\u00e1n construyendo senderos accesibles para sillas de ruedas a lo largo de la arena, garantizando as\u00ed que las familias puedan acceder a la playa de forma segura. Se dispondr\u00e1 de sillas de ruedas impermeables especializadas para que los participantes puedan entrar al agua c\u00f3modamente, y los ni\u00f1os que requieran asistencia respiratoria contar\u00e1n con respiradores port\u00e1tiles. El personal m\u00e9dico y los voluntarios del Hospital Infantil Nicklaus permanecer\u00e1n en el lugar durante todo el evento para brindar apoyo a los participantes y atender cualquier necesidad m\u00e9dica.<\/p>\n

Fundado en 1986 por el Dr. Moises Simpser, el Campamento VACC fue el primer campamento de una semana de duraci\u00f3n en el pa\u00eds dise\u00f1ado espec\u00edficamente para ni\u00f1os con ventilaci\u00f3n asistida y sus familias. En las \u00faltimas cuatro d\u00e9cadas, el programa ha recibido a m\u00e1s de 250 familias de Estados Unidos y otros pa\u00edses. El d\u00eda anual en la playa sigue siendo un momento muy especial, que brinda a las familias la oportunidad de crear recuerdos inolvidables juntas.<\/p>\n
