Miami Beach, Florida<\/strong> – In a highly  anticipated exhibition match, the Miami Beach Senior High School Lady Hi Tides softball team will team up with the Hi-Tides boys baseball team for their annual end-of-season coed showdown as the City of Miami Beach welcomes residents back to the upgraded Flamingo Park softball field on Jueves 14 de mayo a las 16:00.<\/strong> El campo de s\u00f3ftbol est\u00e1 ubicado en Calle 13 y Avenida Meridian<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Lady High-Tides play all of their home games and practice at the softball field while the boys play their home games at the nearby Flamingo Park Baseball Field, which was recently renamed in honor of baseball coach Stanley “Skip” Bertman. The legendary coach graduated from Miami Beach Senior High School in 1956 and later returned to lead the school’s baseball program to a state championship and two runner-up finishes before making his mark at the collegiate level. Adult recreation groups will also begin using the updated softball field this summer.<\/p>\n
