Art Deco Weekend is a free community cultural festival celebrating Miami Beach’s architecture, history, arts and culture. Organized by the Miami Design Preservation League (MDPL) with major support from the City of Miami Beach and the Original Miami Beach Antique Show, the festival will celebrate its 46th year in 2023 with the theme: Art Deco Worldwide, in honor of the upcoming 16th World Congress on Art Deco, taking place April 18-30 in South Florida.

Ocean Drive from 5 – 13 streets
MDPL started Art Deco Weekend in 1977 to bring attention to the beautiful Art Deco architecture along Ocean Drive and throughout Miami Beach. This signature event is MDPL’s largest educational outreach program of the year and a major part of the organization’s initiative to preserve, protect, and promote historic preservation in the Art Deco District and greater Miami.
