12th Annual Miami Beach Veterans Day Celebration

12th Annual Miami Beach Veterans Day Celebration

November 11, 2020
11:11 AM - 12:00 PM

The City of Miami Beach is pleased to continue our 12 year tradition of honoring, recognizing and celebrating veterans.  This year we will continue our proud salute and invite you to participate in the 12th Annual Miami Beach Veterans Day Celebration, and commemorate the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II, the 70th anniversary of the beginning of the Korean War, and the 30th anniversary of the end of the Panama Invasion and the beginning of Desert Shield. For the safety of our veterans and the community, we will be gathering virtually for our public ceremony.

As we have done throughout this unprecedented year, we will take a creative approach to celebrate and commemorate our heroes.

Tune into MBTV or the City of Miami Beach’s Facebook page at 11:11 a.m. for a message from Mayor Gelber and special guests, followed by a video message from local veterans and their families.

The military fly over has been cancelled due to weather.

Stay tuned for additional details of the event day. Help us thank the women and men who served our country!
