\n\t\t\tSlow Streets 2.0\t<\/h1>\n

\n\t\t\tProject Overview:\t<\/h2>\n\t

The City of Miami Beach will implement the Flamingo Park Neighborhood Slow Streets 2.0 Plan in coordination with\u00a0Miami-Dade\u00a0County and the community. This work will build on the plans that were started\u00a0in 2020\u00a0as part of the first version of Slow Streets\u00a0and the City’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan.<\/p>\n

The effort focuses on creating low-stress streets for people walking and biking through low-cost traffic calming measures.\u00a0Phase 1 of this plan will reflect the lessons learned\u00a0from the first iteration including feedback from the community. The work will focus on Jefferson Avenue between 5 Street and 11 Street, and 13 Street between Washington Avenue and Meridian Avenue.<\/p>\n

The project team is analyzing the corridors and identifying potential traffic-calming project types that could be implemented such as curb extensions, bike lanes, delineators, signage, and asphalt art.
