Cette politique s&#039;applique aux proc\u00e9dures de candidature, d&#039;embauche, d&#039;avancement, de r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration, d&#039;avantages sociaux, de formation et aux autres conditions d&#039;emploi.<\/p>\n<h3>Qui est couvert<\/h3>\n<p>Cette politique couvre toute personne qualifi\u00e9e handicap\u00e9e qui, avec ou sans am\u00e9nagement raisonnable, peut exercer les fonctions essentielles du poste.<\/p>\n<h3>D\u00e9finition du handicap<\/h3>\n<p>Il existe trois cat\u00e9gories de personnes handicap\u00e9es :<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>les personnes qui pr\u00e9sentent une d\u00e9ficience physique ou mentale qui limite consid\u00e9rablement une ou plusieurs activit\u00e9s de la vie. Les principales activit\u00e9s de la vie comprennent des activit\u00e9s telles que prendre soin de soi, effectuer des t\u00e2ches manuelles, marcher, voir, entendre, respirer, parler, apprendre et travailler\u00a0;<\/li>\n<li>les personnes ayant des ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents de d\u00e9ficience physique ou mentale ayant consid\u00e9rablement limit\u00e9 une ou plusieurs de leurs principales activit\u00e9s de vie\u00a0;<\/li>\n<li>des personnes consid\u00e9r\u00e9es comme ayant un tel handicap, qu&#039;elles en soient r\u00e9ellement atteintes ou non.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>D\u00e9ficiences physiques ou mentales<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Les d\u00e9ficiences physiques comprennent\u00a0:<\/li>\n<li>troubles ou affections physiologiques, y compris l&#039;alcoolisme et la toxicomanie\u00a0;<\/li>\n<li>d\u00e9figuration esth\u00e9tique; ou<\/li>\n<li>perte anatomique d&#039;un ou plusieurs des syst\u00e8mes corporels suivants\u00a0: neurologique\u00a0; musculosquelettique\u00a0; organes des sens sp\u00e9ciaux\u00a0; respiratoire, y compris les organes de la parole\u00a0; cardiovasculaire\u00a0; reproducteur\u00a0; digestif\u00a0; g\u00e9nito-urinaire\u00a0; h\u00e9matopo\u00ef\u00e9tique et lymphatique\u00a0; cutan\u00e9 et endocrinien.<\/li>\n<li>Les d\u00e9ficiences mentales comprennent les troubles mentaux ou psychologiques, tels que le retard mental, le syndrome c\u00e9r\u00e9bral organique, les maladies \u00e9motionnelles ou mentales ; et les troubles sp\u00e9cifiques de l&#039;apprentissage.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Consommation actuelle de drogues<\/h3>\n<p>La \u00ab\u00a0consommation actuelle\u00a0\u00bb d\u00e9signe la consommation ill\u00e9gale de substances r\u00e9glement\u00e9es survenue suffisamment r\u00e9cemment pour justifier une croyance raisonnable selon laquelle la consommation de drogue d&#039;une personne est actuelle ou que la poursuite de sa consommation constitue un probl\u00e8me r\u00e9el et persistant. Les personnes qui consomment actuellement et ill\u00e9galement des drogues ne sont pas prot\u00e9g\u00e9es par la pr\u00e9sente politique.<\/p>\n<h3>Personne qualifi\u00e9e en situation de handicap<\/h3>\n<p>Pour \u00eatre admissible, la personne handicap\u00e9e doit \u00eatre en mesure d&#039;exercer les fonctions essentielles du poste, avec ou sans am\u00e9nagements raisonnables de la part de la Ville. Une personne qui repr\u00e9sente une menace directe pour la sant\u00e9 ou la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 d&#039;autrui ne sera pas admissible.<\/p>\n<h3>Am\u00e9nagements raisonnables<\/h3>\n<p>La Ville prendra des mesures d\u2019adaptation raisonnables en fonction des limitations physiques ou mentales connues des candidats ou des employ\u00e9s handicap\u00e9s par ailleurs qualifi\u00e9s, \u00e0 moins que cela n\u2019impose une difficult\u00e9 excessive au fonctionnement de la Ville.<\/p>\n<h3>PROC\u00c9DURES :<\/h3>\n<h4>Processus de candidature<\/h4>\n<p>La Ville s&#039;engage \u00e0 fournir des am\u00e9nagements raisonnables \u00e0 toutes les \u00e9tapes du processus d&#039;embauche. Les candidats et les employ\u00e9s sont pri\u00e9s d&#039;informer le service des Ressources humaines d\u00e8s que possible s&#039;ils ont besoin d&#039;am\u00e9nagements pour le processus de candidature, les tests ou l&#039;entretien.<\/p>\n<h4>Aptitude au service<\/h4>\n<p>Conform\u00e9ment au R\u00e8glement du personnel de la Ville, celle-ci peut exiger une \u00e9valuation m\u00e9dicale d&#039;aptitude au travail afin de d\u00e9terminer si un employ\u00e9 est apte \u00e0 exercer les fonctions essentielles de son poste. Cette \u00e9valuation sera effectu\u00e9e par des experts m\u00e9dicaux qui d\u00e9termineront si l&#039;\u00e9tat de sant\u00e9 de l&#039;employ\u00e9 est ad\u00e9quat et, le cas \u00e9ch\u00e9ant, les am\u00e9nagements raisonnables n\u00e9cessaires conform\u00e9ment aux fonctions essentielles de la description de poste actuelle.<\/p>\n<h4>Invalidit\u00e9 permanente<\/h4>\n<p>Un employ\u00e9 qui n&#039;est plus en mesure d&#039;exercer les fonctions essentielles de son poste, avec ou sans am\u00e9nagements raisonnables, peut \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9 pour d&#039;autres postes au sein de la Ville pour lesquels il est qualifi\u00e9. Si aucun poste de ce type n&#039;existe, ou si l&#039;employ\u00e9 refuse un tel poste et qu&#039;aucun am\u00e9nagement raisonnable n&#039;est possible pour le maintenir \u00e0 son poste actuel ou \u00e0 un autre poste, un licenciement sera envisag\u00e9.
