\u00c9tat du projet \u2013 En construction<\/h3>\n

La Ville construit 35 nouvelles tours de sauvetage embl\u00e9matiques et color\u00e9es pour prot\u00e9ger nos plages. Ce projet a d\u00e9but\u00e9 en 2015\u00a0; les tours sont construites par lots et install\u00e9es sur la plage d\u00e8s leur installation.<\/p>\n

Localisation du projet<\/h3>\n

Des zones de pr\u00e9paration sont am\u00e9nag\u00e9es o\u00f9 l'entrepreneur travaille \u00e0 l'assemblage des tours de sauvetage avant leur transfert sur la plage et leur mise en service. L'emplacement des nouvelles tours est choisi en collaboration avec Ocean Rescue afin de d\u00e9terminer les endroits o\u00f9 elles seront le plus n\u00e9cessaires, les anciennes \u00e9tant mises hors service.<\/p>\n

Les zones de rassemblement actuelles sont situ\u00e9es \u00e0 l'est du parc Lummus, pr\u00e8s de la 14e rue, et \u00e0 l'est du parc North Beach Oceanside, au nord de la 79e rue.<\/p>\n

\u00c9tendue des travaux<\/h3>\n

Les cinq derni\u00e8res tours (sur les 35) sont actuellement en construction\u00a0! Leur fonction principale est d'abriter les sauveteurs et de prot\u00e9ger les baigneurs de Miami Beach. Leur design original est \u00e9galement devenu un symbole Art d\u00e9co embl\u00e9matique des plages de Miami Beach.<\/p>\n
