Miami Beach, Floride<\/strong> \u2013 La ville de Miami Beach souhaite aider les habitants \u00e0 se pr\u00e9parer \u00e0 la saison des ouragans dans l'Atlantique en proposant une version moderne des sacs de sable. Cette ann\u00e9e, la ville distribuera des sacs pr\u00e9remplis de billes de gel de silice qui gonflent lorsqu'elles sont immerg\u00e9es dans l'eau.<\/p>\n

Chaque r\u00e9sident de Miami Beach peut obtenir jusqu'\u00e0 quatre sacs plats et l\u00e9gers, sur pr\u00e9sentation d'une pi\u00e8ce d'identit\u00e9 officielle ou d'une facture de services publics, dans la limite des stocks disponibles. Ces sacs seront disponibles sur Jeudi 24 juillet <\/strong>et Samedi 26 juillet<\/strong> depuis de 9h \u00e0 17h<\/strong> dans les stationnements municipaux au 2100 Collins Ave. et au 225 79 St.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Miami Beach reste d\u00e9termin\u00e9 \u00e0 rendre la pr\u00e9paration aux inondations accessible \u00e0 tous et \u00e0 fournir \u00e0 nos r\u00e9sidents les outils dont ils ont besoin pour rester en s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Steven Meiner, maire de Miami Beach<\/strong>\u00ab Ces sacs sont plats et facilement transportables jusqu'\u00e0 leur activation, ce qui permet aux r\u00e9sidents de les stocker et de les d\u00e9ployer avec moins d'effort physique. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Avant utilisation, les r\u00e9sidents n\u2019ont qu\u2019\u00e0 vaporiser les sacs avec de l\u2019eau ou les faire tremper dans une baignoire ou un bassin jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce qu\u2019ils soient compl\u00e8tement satur\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Pour rappel, les sacs ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 en contact avec les eaux de crue ne doivent pas \u00eatre r\u00e9utilis\u00e9s. Apr\u00e8s utilisation, ou si l'emballage est endommag\u00e9, placez le sac et les billes de gel de silice renvers\u00e9es dans un sac poubelle pour les jeter. Ne jetez pas les billes de gel de silice dans les toilettes, les douches ou les \u00e9viers. Ne jetez jamais de sacs de sable ou de billes de gel de silice dans les \u00e9gouts pluviaux, les plans d'eau ou sur la plage. Avant utilisation, rangez les sacs dans un endroit frais et a\u00e9r\u00e9.<\/p>\n

La brochure \u00ab\u00a0Conseils de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et de sensibilisation aux inondations\u00a0\u00bb de la ville sera \u00e9galement distribu\u00e9e aux habitants lors de la distribution des sacs. Elle fournira des conseils utiles sur les mesures \u00e0 prendre avant, pendant et apr\u00e8s une inondation.
