Cet accord permet \u00e0 la Ville d&#039;avancer sans d\u00e9bourser un centime pour Penrod Brothers, Inc. et ouvre la voie \u00e0 la transformation du site en un nouvel espace public de renomm\u00e9e internationale, destin\u00e9 aux r\u00e9sidents et aux visiteurs.<\/p>\n<p>Aux termes de l&#039;accord, le bail et la concession de Penrod pour la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 situ\u00e9e \u00e0 l&#039;angle de la 1re Rue et d&#039;Ocean Drive seront prolong\u00e9s jusqu&#039;au 6 ao\u00fbt 2027 et Penrod recevra un paiement de 3\u00a0000\u00a0000\u00a0$ ($). Lors de la m\u00e9diation du 26 mars 2027, la Ville et Boucher Brothers devaient chacune verser 501\u00a0000\u00a0$ (501\u00a0000\u00a0$) sur les 3\u00a0000\u00a0000\u00a0$ ($) dus \u00e0 Penrod. Suite \u00e0 de r\u00e9centes n\u00e9gociations, Boucher Brothers a toutefois accept\u00e9 de verser la part de la Ville, soit 1\u00a0500\u00a0000\u00a0$ ($), sous r\u00e9serve du recouvrement de ce montant sur les paiements futurs dus \u00e0 la Ville au titre de la concession de Boucher Brothers Pier Park et d&#039;autres \u00e9l\u00e9ments encore en cours de n\u00e9gociation.<\/p>\n<p>De plus, le d\u00e9lai de d\u00e9marrage des activit\u00e9s de Boucher Brothers (ainsi que les \u00e9ch\u00e9ances connexes) sera prolong\u00e9 afin de tenir compte des retards occasionn\u00e9s par le litige et les conditions impr\u00e9vues du site. Boucher Brothers aura \u00e9galement la possibilit\u00e9 de prolonger son contrat de concession de cinq ann\u00e9es suppl\u00e9mentaires.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c La r\u00e9solution approuv\u00e9e met fin \u00e0 un litige prolong\u00e9 et \u00e9vite des d\u00e9penses suppl\u00e9mentaires, des retards et des incertitudes li\u00e9s \u00e0 la poursuite des proc\u00e9dures judiciaires \u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 <strong>Miami Beach<\/strong> <strong>Directeur municipal Eric T. Le projet pr\u00e9voit d&#039;injecter des dizaines de millions de dollars de capitaux priv\u00e9s afin de transformer le site existant en une destination baln\u00e9aire de premier ordre, offrant des infrastructures de loisirs, de restauration et de vente au d\u00e9tail haut de gamme, ainsi que des concessions en bord de mer. Parmi les options de restauration envisag\u00e9es figurent un restaurant m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en, des salles de teppanyaki japonaises et un caf\u00e9 Sadelle&#039;s.<\/p>\n<p>L&#039;accord conclu avec Boucher Brothers offre un large \u00e9ventail d&#039;avantages \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9, renfor\u00e7ant la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 publique, facilitant l&#039;acc\u00e8s des r\u00e9sidents, soutenant les \u00e9coles locales et am\u00e9liorant la qualit\u00e9 de vie \u00e0 Miami Beach. Parmi les points forts, citons la mise \u00e0 disposition de fauteuils roulants adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 la plage et le financement de deux postes de policiers et d&#039;un poste de garde forestier.
