Miami Beach Announces Fire on the Fourth Festival

(Miami Beach, FL) Jun 20, 2022 -

Fireworks will once again light up the skies over Miami Beach this July 4 following a full day of entertainment. With a dedicated Family Zone supported by T-Mobile, this outdoor festival marks the nation’s 246th birthday with the return of the city’s annual Fire on the Fourth celebration in North Beach.

“July 4 is always a special time for families to get together and celebrate our nation’s independence,” shared Miami Beach City Manager Alina T. Hudak. “We’ve planned a spectacular event that I’m sure our residents and visitors will enjoy.”

Fire on the Fourth kicks off at noon on Monday, July 4, 2022 at 73 Street and Collins Avenue with numerous activities and events planned for the sand bowl behind the North Beach Bandshell. Entertainment continues throughout the day on multiple stages in the sand bowl as the bandshell itself is transformed into an outdoor roller disco. Fire on the Fourth culminates with a fireworks display at 9 p.m.

This year’s event features food trucks, a Family Zone sponsored by T-Mobile (don’t forget your bathing suit), circus performers, music acts and even a magician. There will be plenty of photo opportunities so charge your phone before you arrive and say, “Miami Beach.”

Performances throughout the day include Camie Liz, Bootleg, Jam with Jamie, Amazing Animals, The Dangerfun Show, The Incredible Ian, DJ Ivan and The Miami Beats, which takes the stage at 8:20 p.m. and continues performing through the fireworks.

Inside the Bandshell, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. you can bop to the beat of Bandshell DJ Allstars while showing off your best skate moves. The pros from the Roller Skate Vibes community will be on hand to liven the party with some moves of their own.
