Daren Hooper

Daren Hooper joined the City Attorney’s Office in July 2021. Daren serves as a liaison between the City Attorney’s Office and the Procurement Management Department. In addition to supporting contract matters for the Procurement Management Department, Daren’s practice concentrates on transactional and real property matters.

Daren graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law where he was a member of the Society of Bar and Gavel, the International and Comparative Law Review, and the Black Law Students Association.

During law school, Daren served as a Legal Intern for Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Robert A. Mark in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida, an Intern with the University of Miami Environmental Justice Clinic, and as a Law Clerk with a fast-paced boutique corporate and entertainment law firm in Coral Gables.
