O projeto do Corpo de Bombeiros no Centro Comunit\u00e1rio South Shore (SSCC), localizado na Rua 6, 833, teve in\u00edcio em 2019 e foi conclu\u00eddo em 2023. Em 26 de junho de 2024, a Comiss\u00e3o Municipal autorizou a Administra\u00e7\u00e3o Municipal a prosseguir com a realoca\u00e7\u00e3o do projeto do Corpo de Bombeiros n\u00ba 1, do Centro Comunit\u00e1rio South Shore (SSCC), localizado na Rua 6, 833, para o lado oeste do Flamingo Park, adjacente \u00e0 Alton Road, entre as ruas 11 e 12. Como o SSCC n\u00e3o ser\u00e1 demolido, n\u00e3o h\u00e1 necessidade de realocar a creche.<\/p>\n<p>Um referendo em todo o condado foi realizado em 20 de agosto de 2024, onde os eleitores de Miami-Dade manifestaram apoio \u00e0 aprova\u00e7\u00e3o do projeto do novo Quartel de Bombeiros n\u00ba 1, a ser transferido para o Flamingo Park Site. O projeto prev\u00ea o projeto e a constru\u00e7\u00e3o de um novo Quartel de Bombeiros, com baias para equipamentos, alojamentos, instala\u00e7\u00f5es de treinamento, refeit\u00f3rio e \u00e1rea de recrea\u00e7\u00e3o, escrit\u00f3rio administrativo, \u00e1rea de manuten\u00e7\u00e3o e armazenamento e estacionamento, conforme necess\u00e1rio. O projeto incluir\u00e1 a demoli\u00e7\u00e3o e reconstru\u00e7\u00e3o do atual pr\u00e9dio do Field House, atualmente localizado na extremidade oeste do campo de futebol americano.<\/p>\n<p>A fase de Projeto Esquem\u00e1tico est\u00e1 em andamento e a previs\u00e3o \u00e9 de conclus\u00e3o em abril de 2025. O edif\u00edcio tamb\u00e9m exibir\u00e1 o mural Apollo, do artista Jack Stewart, na fachada oeste do edif\u00edcio, adjacente \u00e0 Alton Road.
