Her 16-year career at the City of Miami Beach has been marked by leadership in managing large-scale, transformative projects that have shaped the city&#8217;s infrastructure, cultural landscape, and quality of life. Her expertise in both the public and private sectors, combined with her extensive background in architecture and real estate development, has made her a key figure in the ongoing growth and revitalization of Miami Beach.<\/p>\n<p>Antes de assumir o cargo de Assistente da Administra\u00e7\u00e3o Municipal, a Sra. Hernandez atuou como Diretora Interina de Obras por v\u00e1rios meses, at\u00e9 a posse do novo Diretor de Obras em outubro de 2024. A Sra. Hernandez tamb\u00e9m foi Diretora do Programa de T\u00edtulos de Obriga\u00e7\u00e3o Geral (GO Bond) de 2018 a 2024, onde liderou a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o de um programa financiado pelos contribuintes no valor de $439 milh\u00f5es, que abrange 57 projetos de melhoria da qualidade de vida com dezenas de subprojetos. Al\u00e9m disso, um T\u00edtulo de Obriga\u00e7\u00e3o Geral (GO Bond) de $159 milh\u00f5es, aprovado pelos eleitores, para Artes e Cultura, foi adicionado ao portf\u00f3lio da Sra. Hernandez em 2022. Isso incluiu 21 projetos para aprimorar as instala\u00e7\u00f5es e aumentar a resili\u00eancia das institui\u00e7\u00f5es de artes e cultura em toda a cidade, bem como a adi\u00e7\u00e3o de parques infantis art\u00edsticos, um parque de esculturas subaqu\u00e1ticas e moradias para artistas e trabalhadores, entre outros projetos culturais.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m de suas responsabilidades anteriores no \u00e2mbito do Programa GO Bond, a Sra. Hernandez tamb\u00e9m atuou como elo de liga\u00e7\u00e3o da Prefeitura para o desenvolvimento e constru\u00e7\u00e3o do Grand Hyatt Miami Beach Convention Center Hotel, com 800 quartos. A constru\u00e7\u00e3o vertical deste projeto teve in\u00edcio na primavera de 2025, sob um Contrato de Arrendamento de Terreno e Desenvolvimento com uma construtora privada, e a previs\u00e3o \u00e9 de que seja inaugurado no outono de 2027.<\/p>\n<p>In 2014, prior to her G.O. Bond responsibilities, Ms. Hernandez was appointed by the City Manager to be Director of the Convention Center District, to oversee the 25-acre, $640 million Convention Center Renovation and Expansion &#8211; the largest capital project in the city&#8217;s history. The project was substantially complete in April 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to these roles, Ms. Hernandez was a Senior Capital Projects Coordinator in the city&#8217;s Capital Improvement Projects Department for several years beginning in 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Ela veio para a cidade de Miami Beach ap\u00f3s 20 anos de carreira no setor privado, atuando nas \u00e1reas de arquitetura e desenvolvimento imobili\u00e1rio na regi\u00e3o de Miami.
