Miami Beach, Fl\u00f3rida<\/strong> \u2013 A cidade de Miami Beach quer ajudar os moradores a se prepararem para a temporada de furac\u00f5es no Atl\u00e2ntico com uma vers\u00e3o moderna do consagrado saco de areia. Este ano, a cidade oferecer\u00e1 sacos pr\u00e9-preenchidos com esferas de s\u00edlica gel que se expandem ao serem imersas em \u00e1gua.<\/p>\n

Cada morador de Miami Beach pode obter at\u00e9 quatro sacolas leves e planas com comprovante de resid\u00eancia por meio de um documento de identidade emitido pelo governo ou conta de servi\u00e7os p\u00fablicos, enquanto durarem os estoques. As sacolas estar\u00e3o dispon\u00edveis em Quinta-feira, 24 de julho <\/strong>e S\u00e1bado, 26 de julho<\/strong> de 9h \u00e0s 17h<\/strong> nos estacionamentos municipais em 2100 Collins Ave. e 225 79 St.<\/p>\n

\u201cMiami Beach continua comprometida em tornar a prepara\u00e7\u00e3o para inunda\u00e7\u00f5es acess\u00edvel a todos e em equipar nossos moradores com as ferramentas de que precisam para se manterem seguros\u201d, disse Prefeito de Miami Beach, Steven Meiner<\/strong>. \u201cEssas bolsas s\u00e3o planas e facilmente transport\u00e1veis at\u00e9 serem ativadas, permitindo que os moradores as armazenem e as usem com menos esfor\u00e7o f\u00edsico.\u201d<\/p>\n

Antes de usar, os moradores precisam apenas borrifar os sacos com \u00e1gua ou deix\u00e1-los de molho na banheira ou bacia at\u00e9 ficarem completamente saturados.<\/p>\n

Como lembrete, sacolas que entraram em contato com \u00e1guas de enchentes n\u00e3o devem ser armazenadas para reutiliza\u00e7\u00e3o. Ap\u00f3s o uso, ou se a embalagem estiver danificada, coloque a sacola e as esferas de s\u00edlica gel derramadas em um saco de lixo para descarte. N\u00e3o descarte esferas de s\u00edlica gel em vasos sanit\u00e1rios, chuveiros ou pias. Nunca coloque sacos de areia ou esferas de s\u00edlica gel em bueiros, corpos d'\u00e1gua ou na praia. Antes do uso, as sacolas devem ser armazenadas em local fresco e ventilado.<\/p>\n
