One of the largest sub-areas of the city, Mid Beach, runs from approximately 23 to 63 street from north to south, and is nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay from east to west. The neighborhood boasts many of the city's residential homes and condominium buildings, along with several of the urban-island’s most iconic hotels and, of course, the revered Mount Sinai Hospital. Not to be missed are Middle Beach's wonderful parks, such as Pine Tree Park and Collins Park, an ice-skating rink, bowling alley and two of the city's most manicured golf courses.
