1. Extensions of Time

a. DRB File No. 10372J, 458 Ocean Drive - Ocean Five. The applicant, Sayeh Corp., is requesting a one (1) year Extension of Time to obtain a Building Permit for a previously issued Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval for the demolition of an existing two (2) story commercial structure and the construction of a four (4) story mixed-use office/retail building.

The applicant, Bob Heyat, is requesting a one (1) year Extension of Time to obtain a Building Permit for a previously issued Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review approval for the partial demolition, renovation and alteration of an existing two (2) story structure, inclusive of a one (1) story addition for a total building height of three (3) stories.

a. DRB File No. 12317J; 1775, 1817, 1831 and 1835 James Avenue. The applicant, Bob Heyat, is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review Approval for the renovation, alteration and restoration of three (3) existing residential structures at 1817, 1831 and 1835 James Avenue, inclusive of an accessory bar and restaurant, as well as roof-top additions at 1817 and 1835 James Avenue; the application also includes the substantial demolition and alteration of an existing two (2) story structure at 1775 James Avenue, inclusive of a roof-top addition, in order to accommodate a new parking garage with first floor apartments.

CONTINUED TO 3/14/00: Plans for 1817, 1831, & 1835 require further revision.

The application for 1775 James Av. was bifurcated and will be heard at a later (as yet undetermined) date.

a. DRB File No. 12569J; 433 - 449 Lincoln Road - Jarman Building. The applicant, JDH-Lincoln, LLC, is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review Approval for the demolition, alteration and renovation of existing storefronts.

b. HPB File No. 1130; 433 - 449 Lincoln Road - Jarman Building. The applicant, JDH-Lincoln, LLC, is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness for Demolition for the demolition, alteration and renovation of existing storefronts.

1. DRB File No. 12319J, 1041 Collins Avenue - Park One. The applicant, Park One of Florida, Inc., is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review Approval for the removal of an existing grade level municipal parking lot in order to construct a six (6) story public parking structure, with ground level retail.

1. DRB File No. 12570J; 1040 Collins Avenue. The applicant, Sprint PCS, is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness and Design Review Approval for the installation of wireless antennas and communication equipment on the roof-top of an existing residential building.

Revisions to Previously Approved Plans

1. DRB File No. 11471, 2021 - 2031 Meridian Avenue - Meridian Manor. The applicant, Jonathan Fryd, is requesting Design Review approval for a new parking court and landscape plan, as required by the Final Order for the construction of an eight (8) unit, five (5) story townhome-apartment building to be located between two existing garden-style structures.

CONTINUED TO 3/14/00: To revise landscape plan.

Previously Continued Matters

1. DRB File No. 11989, 100 Washington Avenue - Courts at South Beach. The applicant, Courts at South Beach, Ltd., is requesting Design Review Approval for a one (1) story commercial structure with a drive-thru on block 380, revisions to the exterior design of the structures on block 78 and 778, and the redesign of phase four (4) of the project including the reintroduction of Meridian Avenue, as well as an eight (8) level residential structure with ground level commercial space.

CONTINUED TO 3/14/00: To allow further refinements to plans.

2. DRB File No. 12109, 7100 Fisher Island Drive - Fisher Island. The applicant, Fisher Island Holdings, L.L.C., is requesting Design Review Approval for the construction of three (3), ten (10) story residential structures, with a total of 128 units.

CONTINUED for 120 days (May 9, 00)

3. DRB File No. 6653, 90 Alton Road - Yacht Club at South Beach. The applicant, the Yacht Club at Portofino. Ltd., is requesting Design Review Approval for revisions to previously approved plans for the construction of a 34 story condominium building with low-rise apartment units at the pedestal level, in order to introduce a new curb-cut on the south elevation.

APPROVED: With amendments to conditions.
