Miami Beach, Florida – Residents and visitors are invited to join the City of Miami Beach in celebrating the holiday season with a variety of free cultural events. Festivities will feature live musical performances, aerial drone shows, projection mapping, fireworks and more.

“We are happy to offer this spectacular lineup of free, family-friendly events that enrich quality of life, sense of community, and makes Miami Beach the best place to live,” shared Miami Beach Mayor Steven Meiner.

Highlights of the holiday lineup include:

Winter Wonderland

Friday, Dec. 12 | 6 PM – 9 PM | North Shore Park, Calle 501 72

The Miami Beach Parks & Recreation Department is hosting its annual Winter Wonderland celebration featuring a tree lighting ceremony, youth dance performances, a visit by a special guest, food trucks, music and more. The event is free for all ages. For access to unlimited rides, wristbands are on sale for $5 aquí.

Holiday Extravaganza

Saturday, Dec. 13 | 6 PM – 9 PM | Lummus Park, Ocean Drive from 13-14 streets

The event will commence at 6 p.m. with ceremonial remarks, followed by a Miami Beach Classical Music Festival concert with projection mapping at 6:15 p.m. and an aerial drone show at promptly 7 p.m. A second concert with projection mapping will be held at 7:15 p.m., followed by a drone show at 8 p.m. Both drone shows of 15-minutes in length and concerts are identical performances. Guests are encouraged to bring their own seating.

Miami Beach Holiday Festival of Lights

Dec. 14, 20 & 21 | 6 PM & 7:30 PM | El Hotel Betsy, 1440 Ocean Drive

Presented by the Miami Beach Classical Music Festival, the dazzling event will captivate audiences of all ages with live orchestral performances; festive characters like Santa, the Grinch and Elsa; and mesmerizing projection mapping displays across the 1400 block of Ocean Drive. Más información.

Serie de cine SoundScape

Wednesday, Dec. 17 | 8 PM – 10 PM | SoundScape Park, 400 17 Street

A free outdoor movie screening of “The Nightmare Before Christmas” will take place in SoundScape Park. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs and snacks to enjoy the show. Orchestra Miami's New Year's Eve Celebration
Wednesday, Dec. 31 | 8 PM – Midnight | Collins Park Beachfront (on the sand between 21 and 22 streets)

Orchestra Miami presents an unforgettable, family-friendly, beachfront concert led by Miami-native and Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi. Ring in the New Year with Maestro Rinaldi, the 42-piece symphony orchestra and special guests, Miami-based GRAMMY® and Latin-GRAMMY nominated Afro-Cuban Funk Band PALO!

The festivities begin at 8 p.m. along the Collins Park beachfront with a performance by the Orchestra Miami String Quartet. The full orchestra will take the stage at 10 p.m. and the performance concludes at midnight with a spectacular fireworks display. New Year's Eve Fireworks on Ocean Drive
Wednesday, Dec. 31

Ring in 2026 on iconic Ocean Drive. Presented by the city and the Ocean Drive Association with support from local businesses, fireworks will be launched at Lummus Park beachfront beginning at 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 31.

Ocean Drive will be closed to vehicular traffic from Dec. 24 through Jan. 11 with over 30 Ocean Drive restaurants extending their outdoor seating for additional alfresco dining.

New Year's Day Celebration

Back for the fifth year in a row, celebrate the New Year with a dazzling outdoor concert as part of the City of Miami Beach OnStage! program with talent from the Miami Beach Classical Music Festival MMF Youth Program and alumni singers.

Enjoy an open-air exhibition at Galeria Ocean Drive that traces the global reach of the art deco design movement while highlighting Miami Beach’s signature tropical deco style. TRANSPORTATION & PARKING

La Asociación de Ocean Drive se ha asociado con Elevo, un tranvía de baja velocidad, para ofrecer transporte gratuito a lo largo de Ocean Drive, entre la calle 5 y la plaza 14. Los pasajeros podrán subir y bajar en puntos designados a lo largo de Ocean Drive, de 11:00 a. m. a 10:00 p. m., del 24 de diciembre al 4 de enero.

La ciudad servicio de carrito gratuito Operará con un horario ampliado desde la víspera de Año Nuevo hasta el día de Año Nuevo. Los tranvías funcionarán desde las 8 a. m. del miércoles 31 de diciembre hasta las 2 a. m. del jueves 1 de enero.

• Garaje de la calle 5: El servicio de transporte gratuito prestará servicio en la parada del tranvía #113 en 6 St. y Lenox Ave.

Los autobuses lanzadera de Nochevieja operarán a intervalos de aproximadamente 20 minutos (cada 10 minutos desde la parada del tranvía #113, cerca del estacionamiento de la calle 5). Los pasajeros deben buscar las señales especiales de estacionamiento antes de subir.

Todos los pasajeros que utilicen el servicio gratuito de transporte de Nochevieja se bajarán en la parada de tranvía #106, ubicada en el lado oeste de la avenida Washington, entre las calles 11 y 12. Deben usar esta parada para regresar a los garajes. También pueden usar el servicio gratuito de tranvía de la ciudad.

La ciudad cobrará una tarifa fija de $20 en cuatro estacionamientos de South Beach desde el miércoles 24 de diciembre hasta el domingo 18 de enero, excepto para los titulares de tarjetas de acceso. Los residentes de Miami Beach que paguen a través de ParkMobile pagarán una tarifa de $10 a mitad de precio. La tarifa fija estará vigente para los estacionamientos ubicados en la calle 7 y la avenida Collins (G1), la calle 12 y la avenida Washington (G2), la calle 13 y la avenida Collins (G3), así como para el estacionamiento ubicado en la calle 16 y la avenida Collins (G4).

HOLIDAY CLOSURES

El Ayuntamiento de Miami Beach estará cerrado el jueves 25 de diciembre y el jueves 1 de enero en conmemoración del día de Navidad y el día de Año Nuevo.

La recolección de basura no se realizará el día de Navidad, 25 de diciembre. La recolección se reanudará el siguiente día programado, 29 de diciembre, para el área afectada (1 Street a 41 Street, propiedades residenciales bajo servicio de la Ciudad).

El servicio de reciclaje no se verá afectado y continuará normalmente el 24 y el 31 de diciembre. Tenga en cuenta que el día de Año Nuevo, el 1 de enero, será un día normal de recolección de basura.

TRAFFIC CLOSURES

Ocean Drive estará cerrada al tráfico vehicular desde el 24 de diciembre hasta el 11 de enero y los restaurantes locales ampliarán sus asientos al aire libre.

SEGURIDAD PÚBLICA

The Miami Beach Police Department will implement an enhanced staffing plan to patrol the entertainment district over and above its regular contingent of officers during the week. The department will assign license plate reader details along the Fifth Street corridor. The Miami Beach Fire Department will conduct night inspections to monitor compliance with life-safety codes and will also provide enhanced staffing along Ocean Drive on New Year’s Eve. Miami Beach Park Rangers will expand service hours and increase personnel assignments. The Code Compliance Department will activate all operational personnel on New Year's Eve and provide enhanced citywide staffing for New Year's Day with a focus on excessively loud music, short-term rentals, illegal commercial events and continuous coverage at the Miami Beach Marina. Homeless outreach services will continue to be available throughout the week.
