Christmas Tree Collection

Curbside Collection (Single-Family Homes):
Residents in single-family homes may place Christmas trees curbside for pickup anytime during the month of January.
Temporary Drop-Off Locations (January 3–4, 2026):
• 140 MacArthur Causeway (Terminal Island)
• 75 Street & Dickens Avenue
Green Waste Facility:
Residents may drop off Christmas trees for free at 2800 Meridian Avenue.
Open Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Christmas Day (Thursday, December 25):
There will be não residential garbage collection by Waste Connections.
There is no make-up day. Collection will resume on the next scheduled day, Monday, December 29, for the affected area (1 Street to 41 Street, residential properties under City service).
Recycling Collection:
Recycling service will não be affected on Wednesday, December 24.
New Year’s Day (Thursday, January 1):
This will be a normal garbage collection day.
