Soins vétérinaires mobiles gratuits bientôt disponibles à Miami Beach

Miami Beach, Floride – Complimentary veterinary services will be available in Miami Beach between Sept. 28 and Dec. 23 for dogs and cats, thanks to a partnership with Miami-Dade County Animal Services (Animal Services), which will bring its Wellness on Wheels (WOW) Mobile to the community The Wow Mobile wellness truck from Miami-Dade County Animal Services will be parked behind the Flamingo Park basketball courts at 13 Street and Michigan Avenue three days per week except Columbus Day (Monday, Oct. 12) and Veterans Day (Nov. 11), providing essential veterinary services at no cost to residents

A ribbon‑cutting and grand opening ceremony to celebrate the WOW Mobile’s return to the beach will be held on Monday, Sept. 28 at 10 a.m. at 13 Street and Michigan Avenue.

“Our pets are family, and this event makes it easier for residents to keep them safe and healthy. After several successful years in North Beach, I’m thrilled that we are bringing these free services to South Beach for the first time,” said Miami Beach Commissioner Laura Dominguez.

The free walk-in care will be available for both dogs and cats every Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed for lunch between 12-1 p.m.).

“Access to affordable pet care shouldn't be a barrier for Miami Beach families,” shared Le maire Steven Meiner. “Our partnership with Miami-Dade County Animal Services makes it easier for residents to access essential care, keep our pets healthy and our neighborhoods safer.”

“Our pets are part of our families, and we want to make sure they are happy, healthy, and getting the care they deserve. We also know that vet bills can add up quickly, and for many families, those costs can be difficult,” added Miami-Dade County Commissioner Vicki L. Lopez. “I’m so happy we’re able to bring the WOW Mobile to Miami Beach and give our residents a little relief while helping them care for the pets they love. A healthy community includes our four-legged neighbors too, and I hope our residents take advantage of these wonderful free services.”

The list of services for dogs and cats include:

• Rabies vaccines
• Microchipping
• Deworming
• One-month supply of flea and tick prevention.

In addition, dog owners can get DHPP vaccinations for their pets at no charge and cat owners can obtain free FVRCP vaccinations for their pets.
