Miami Beach To Host Inauguration Ceremony

Miami Beach, Florida – The City of Miami Beach will hold an inauguration event on Monday, Dec. 15 bei 9 Uhr to swear in Mayor Steven Meiner to a second two-year term as well as three Miami Beach commissioners, including political newcomer Monica Matteo-Salinas, whose Group 1 election to a four-year term was decided in a Dec. 9 runoff vote.

Incumbent Commissioners Laura Dominguez and Alex J. Fernandez will be sworn in to new four-year terms based on the results of the Nov. 4 general election in the Group II and Group III races respectively.

“I am grateful to the residents of Miami Beach for their trust and support,” said Bürgermeister Steven Meiner. “My goal is to serve every resident, making our city the safest and best place to live in America. Where quality of life comes first.”

The inauguration ceremony will take place in the Miami Beach City Hall Commission Chambers bei 1700 Convention Center Drive, Third Floor.
